The Florida transplanter is a semi-automatic and multifunctional machine used for planting conical or cylindrical seedlings. This machine is particularly used for planting sensitive tobacco seedlings and can also plant seedlings of crops such as tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, and similar plants. Recently, a model with a sunshade roof has been introduced, which is useful when the operator is exposed to sunlight. With two depth control mechanisms and a 6 or 10-cup plastic distributor, it has the capability to plant 4,000 to 6,000 seedlings per hour. Its weight varies depending on the type and size.
