Sabzdasht Machine was founded in 1979 by Mr. Jafar Rouzati in Isfahan with the aim of mechanizing the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of potatoes. For the first time in Iran, he produced potato planters and harvesters with minimal resources.
Through extensive efforts, he was able to replace traditional and basin planting methods with row planting of potatoes in various regions of Iran. He successfully promoted and developed the use of planting and harvesting machinery on farms, which until then had been limited to plowing with oxen-drawn plows. Thus, over the years, step by step, the challenging path of mechanizing potato cultivation in Iran was smoothed, and conditions for expanding the cultivation area for this crop were created.

Since its early days, Sabzdasht has achieved various national quality certifications and honors through its continuous development. By producing thousands of high-quality planting, cultivation, and harvesting machines, it has become recognized as the founder and most specialized entity in potato mechanization in Iran.
