Sabzdasht Machine Company, with the aim of agricultural mechanization in Iran, succeeded in producing potato planting machine and potato harvesting machine for the first time. And in this way, the Cretan and traditional planting of potatoes gradually gave way to modern row planting.

With the utilization of these modern tools, the cultivated land area across Iran increased, which meant self-sufficiency, higher income for farmers, and optimal use of national resources.
