The SP2 potato planter is designed for planting potatoes and is mounted to the tractor using a three-point hitch. It is suitable for tractors with 75 horsepower or more. This machine automatically lifts the potatoes from the hopper using seed cups on a rubber belt and places them in the soil. After the machine’s furrow openers create a suitable bed for seed placement, the planting units regularly place the seeds into the furrow, and finally, soil covering after planting is done using the covering unit. The seed hopper has a capacity of 500 kilograms, and three different seed cup models can be provided for planting tubers of various sizes based on customer requests. Additionally, this model is available with row spacing of 75, 80, and 90 centimeters according to the customer’s preference.
